Brand on The Pre-existing Paradigm

He is the one eyed king of the blind. We know all about the problems of the "pre-existing paradigm" but change agents like Brand, pour petrol onto the fire. That is to say, they identify the issues correctly, but apply a completely inappropriate solution. In this case, given the fact that he shied away from outlining his Utopian vision, I would say that the absence of a solution is the answer for him. Chaos.

Who is Behind the Occupy Movement?

Google this and you'll get a variety of answers:

The Unions
Anarchists
Communists
George Soros
Stephane Hessel
No-one (i.e. It started as a grassroots movement)

The answer I would be least inclined to believe is the latter. Unless the Arab Spring was also a grassroots movement. Which it wasn't.
Its a confusing matter. What do you call a cross between a Paradigm shift, and a dialectical synthesis?
